Default Help with exporting edited frames

I found out online how to use Photoshop to stablize video. I watched the video, but it didn't tell how to import the frames into a movie editing software. I don't have After Effects. Is this something I'll need so that I can edit the movie in Final Cut Express HD 3.5? If not, how do I import the edited frames?

Make a new bin. Under bin prefernces set the duration of imported graphics to one frame. Import the folder of frames you treated in photoshop. They should retain their original relationship in terms of shot order.

You can also render out a "frame movie", but I do the first procedure I mentioned and it never fails if you have the bin set up properly. Then select>all, drag the first frame back into the timeline where it needs to go.
