Default V1 frame rate

Hello everyone!

This may be a silly question but here goes. Is it possible to change the frame rate (fps) on a Sony V1P. If so, how?
I was hoping to speed up the fps so I can slow the footage down in post and have it really smooth. Does that make sense? I know the V1 has a slow motion setting but I dont like the idea of it not being as good a quality as the rest of the movie...
Thanks
Josh

Hi Joshua

Thank God someone is using a real name

You can change shutter speed but not frame rate (AFAIK)

If you want really great slomo you need Twixtor
http://www.revisionfx.com/products/twixtor/

read the reviews- I use it - it works

watch You Don't Know Me on that page

You can switch from 25 frames/s, interlaced to 25 frames/s, progressive. The operation manual explains how to do that.

There is no way to shoot faster than 25 frames/s interlaced with the V1P except for smooth slow recording.
