Hi everyone just a quick question, I live in the UK and therefore am using pal and adobe premiere cs4. I was just wondering what you think is the best possible way to export your footage onto dvd and the web so it looks the best. On my camcorder (ag-dvx100b) my footage looks great and the same in adobe, but then when i export it as an avi file and upload it on facebook and youtube the footage looks pretty poor! I use squeeze mode and film 25fp if that helps. Am i doing something wrong? I want it to look like tv quality so when I send off dvds to film festivals it looks professional. Thanks

Hi everyone, just a quick question as this is beginning to get very frustrating. I used adobe premier cs4 to edit and whilst I've been editing a music video I've noticed often there seems to be flickers on the footage. It very hard to notice but it definitly is noticeable, and looks almost like some form of electronic interferance or something. But it seems to almost be random too, so I'm wondering where in the production line is this occuring? Is it adobes fault? Or perhaps when I upload my footage its a poor firewire port or something or even maybe the tapes? (But i cant see the flicker on the tapes however.) Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks Taras

Premiere Pro CS5 Multicam Audio

Hi all,

You know a few weeks ago when I said that with every new wedding project I do, I find another new issue with Premiere Pro CS5? Well.... I just started a new project a couple of days ago and I think I found a new problem! :-)

Picture the scene (no pun intended): I've got two cameras at a wedding. I sync them both up in a sequence and then I drop that sequence in a new sequence and turn on the Multicam feature. I proceed to do an entire 20 minute ceremony Multicam edit and then I go back to the source sequence and change the audio mix. Now when I go back to my Multicam edit, the audio is gone.

Now, I did some checking and I find that the audio fades back in a few minutes into the Multicam edit. Why? I don't know. So, I created a new sequence, dropped the source sequence into it and played it. It's fine. I switch on Multicam, it loses the first two minutes of audio.

I simply don't get it. Anyone else seen this issue with Multicam in Premiere Pro CS5?

Regards,

Andrew.
